A guide for Splendid Entertainers - Performage!
Hello, We are
and .One of our favourite archetypes is the Performage, so we decided to make a guide as they are a bit worse (but way cheaper) version of one of the currently most represented META decks - Star Seraph (aka Stick & Chair).
Overview
Performage was introduced as an archetype in May 2024 in the Mini Box: Scream of Resistance and the event: Dennis: The Splendid Entertainer!. It has one of the cheapest deck cores, due to the fact all archetype cards can be found in the mini box and level-up/drop rewards.
The playstyle of the deck revolves around Dennis McField 's skill Performage Showtime giving consisting access to a great XYZ toolbox that can be adjusted according to the META, the ability to break and OTK through a variety of boards and great survivability.
Pros
- Easy to Build.
- Can play both First & Second.
- Space for Engine and Tech Cards.
Cons
- Outclassed by decks with better skills.
- Gets weaker in the later stage of the grind game.

Archetype Core Cards
Performage Damage Juggler
This card is the searcher of the deck, adding any other Performage monster by banishing it while in the Graveyard. You can prevent battle or effect damage during the Battle Phase by discarding it once per turn. Additionally, it can be used to negate and destroy a card that would inflict effect damage.

Performage Trick Clown
This is one of the core cards of the deck due to its once per turn revival effect for any Performage monster from the graveyard. When the effect successfully resolves the owner of the card will receive 500 points of damage and the monster revived by this effect will have their stats to 0.
