Tier 1

Lyrilusc is still a good deck (despits its horrendous Ghostrick Matchup). The Predaplant matchup hinges on whether Lyrilusc finds Loading... (for the opponent's own Loading... ). The Fleur matchup is now slightly better, as that deck is gearing up for the Predaplant matchup (reducing the need for Loading... ). Lyrilusc is just really good at doing the same thing over and over again, and it keeps working (even with the meta change).

Predaplant lists are all pretty similar now, and the deck has a gameplan that looks solid into everything. Most players have cut the Loading... package, opting for Loading... and Loading... in order to better answer Shaddoll and backrow decks. The meta has started to adapt to beat predaplant, running handtraps like Loading... , Loading... , and , Loading... (which also hits Lyrilusc if they Loading... ). Regardless, I expect a good performance from Predaplant this KC Cup.

Predaplant is one of the hardest decks to play right now due to the large number of decisions you can make at any moment. But if you know what you're doing and can manage your timer well, it feels like one of the best decks in the meta.

TPC Comments

Ghostrick's Turn 1 is one of the most oppressive in the current game, as they can gain a lot of advantage, set up Loading... for a Field Spell floodgate, and establish disruptions with Traps. The issue with this deck lies in going second, as the main play gets interrupted by any removal on the first Ghostrick flipped (which is something Lyrilusc and Predaplant can't do, but every other deck can), which ultimately results in relying on hard-drawn Trap Cards to survive. Coinflip-reliant decks aren't necessarily bad, but require some luck to perform. Even so, I can still see this deck getting some Top 100 spots in the KC Cup.
