Notes & Combos
This is definitely not the most consistent deck, but I wanted to get to DLv. Max with Magician of Chaos AND Magicians' Combination at least before moving to a fully focused MoC deck. This took way too much grinding for my liking. A few notes about my choices:
- The two Knightmare monsters were never summoned. They can definitely be changed for other much better picks. I threw them in there for backup.
- I like Magicians' Combination's effect negation. It is prone to being stopped with D.D. Crow and anything else that gets rid of the monster you're trying to summon that's opposite to what you tributed, but it's great when it works. Getting this + Dark Cavalry + Eternal Soul setup is immensely satisfying.
- Quintet is the end all be all. If you go for Quintet, you need to make sure you have the duel in the bag. I never bring it out if I know it will backfire or be negated.
- This deck is highly prone to bricking. The amount of times I've bricked is way too high. I was too far into the KC Cup to change my deck though, so I pushed through.
