Notes & Combos

Usually you want to end up first turn with Nightmare, Kagutsuchi and (possibly) Leo Dancer on the field. I've reached Kog second time now with this deck and HOLY MOLY people know how to counter it. It's been a nightmare against the Shiranui Trap (pls limit to 1) and Blue Eyes going first. I'll break down my feelings against every metadeck now: -shiranui: you probably lose if they have the trap. But if they don't you maybe want to take it slow, and maybe summon Nightmare on turn 2/3, don't overrun things. They have infinite stuff and you only got 2 Fusion Monsters and Castel. Find the perfect opening and slash. -Blue Eyes: go second and hope they don't counter your nightmare with everything they got. -T.G.: you might have a change either if you go first or second. It's all about setting right monsters with Evilswarm. If they summon a synchro in the extra monster zone SET IT: now the ExtraMZ it's locked forever. Going second use everything you've got and you might win. -Sky Striker: honestly the best deck to face. They only got one counter to your fusion monster and it's the Link 3 monster. Normally, they can't do anything against you if you summon 2 Fusion Monsters.

SECRET TECHNIQUE: detach either Emerald or Crimson from Kagutsuchi to activate their effect. Explanaition in the replays.
