After playing darklord to reach legend then SSA crystron until legend 3 (the citree ssa combo to reborn soufefnir is extremely fun), I finally decided to play with the labyrinth builder and never lost until I reached kog. Is it better than SSA ? I can't tell (but sending the traps and controller back to the deck and add them later is REALLY nicce and avoid the awful undine + controller hand) And I had much more fun with this version.
The surprise factor of the skill is indeed extremely fun and forces your opponent to make subpar plays or deal with trishula ( = victory most of the time).
I favoured lance to protect the trishulas and to decrease the attack of riser (I really love this combo). I think a turn 1 level 6 synchro is really good as it slightly increases the consistency of the deck by allowing you to make a synchro with smiger or thistverne and wheeleeder and then continue the combo.
