Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Legit it was the same list as in June. Didn't want to think too much on this climb as I was focused on installing stuff into a new computer. I ended up with a 10 winstreak at the end.

Notable matchups: HERO, Utopia, Speedroid, Nouvelles

I'm used to the HERO matchup by now. Played around Super Poly every time (follow the playline below), and when going 2nd, Umastryx banishes Armed Dragon, or the only E-HERO if it's there.

Utopia was always scary, and I had to have a way to bait out the counter trap, and have Eclipse. Going 1st is a lot easier since I would let them have Leo Utopia Ray, then chain to the equip effect to flip it down, then flip myself up again with Final Battle, then when the 2nd one tries to attack, Hidden City negates. Next turn I have tempo to force out the 2 remaining interruptions.

Against Speedroid I 100% need Eclipse. Not fun. Bait the Crystal Clear Wing S/T negate, then go Book of Eclipse and start banishing. Otherwise, probably need to go 1st, negate the extra Normal Summon from Rubber Band Shooter, and lead them to go Battle Phase with OG Clear Wing.

F*** Nouvelles. I always know how they play, but it's just a bad matchup. They always have Lava Golem, and I rarely draw Eclipse so then I kinda have to target or attack at SOME point, and I don't want to do that. Probably the best solution is Nemesis Warrior chain blocking Umastryx, but I never get there fast enough to pull that off. Luckily I just went 2nd with the god hand on the KoG rank-up, hit him with 2 Hidden City to play through the counter trap, and then Eclipse, OTKed him real quick.

Quick Tip to play around Super Poly or any deck that can instantly remove one monster on your field:

  1. Search Guru/Fiendess, whichever is missing.
  2. Skill set Final Battle.
  3. Fiendess effect to set herself and summon Guru face-down.
  4. Hidden City flip up, search Umastryx.
  5. Final Battle flip up Fiendess.
  6. Guru flip down himself and Fiendess to summon Umastryx, and then flip down Umastryx.

They will have a hard time OTKing through 3 monsters, hopefully, and Hidden City would trigger Umastryx. Flip up Guru if you need to negate Rainbow Neos.
