Notes & Combos
Tried a lot of Orcust variant before deciding to play this version with a soon to be dead skill. The skill is on paper great: it puts back bricks, it turns traps going second in extenders, it makes you able to summon Phoenix even if your normal summon gets booked; in reality it almost never came up as the cards were more valuable in hand as discard for the Knightmares and the Orcust links require effect monsters so it can't be used for that either. One time it shuffled back a drawn World Wand which made me end on the Release board so it was useful in that situation.
Deskbot 003 is an Orcust starter that either summons 002 to add another 003 for followup or fodder for the skill, or 005 going second to destroy a backrow before committing to any link plays. They're also machines so can be used as cost for Release and, not in this build, but are fodder for Machina Fortress.
Originally I was trying an Orcust variant of the Deskbot Metalfoes deck that, with a 2 card combo, ended on Vimana, Ding, Skeleton, Release and 2 cards in hand, but I feel like we're not yet in the scenario where monster effects can outresource staple traps, so big combo decks aren't really viable yet.
